Kings Day Celebration (Netherlands)

As you may know, April 27 is the national holiday of the Netherlands, King’s Day 🤴 . This day is celebrated throughout the country with festivals, parades, and other fun activities.

At GumGum, we would like you to join in the festivities and celebrate King’s Day on April 26th (a day before Kings Day so you can enjoy the national holiday how you choose to).

We invite you to join us in the spirit of the day by wearing ORANGE whilst enjoying a team dinner at Lucca Due 🍕 and 🍹 drinks on Wednesday, April 26th at 6 PM CET.

King's Day is a national holiday in the Netherlands celebrated every year on April 27, the birthday of King Willem-Alexander. The holiday was previously known as Queen's Day and it originally celebrated the birthday of Queen Juliana, the mother of King Willem-Alexander, on April 30. On King's Day, many Dutch citizens celebrate the Dutch monarchy by wearing orange clothing and attending street festivals.

We celebrate Kings Day to honour the legacy of our past and present kings and queens. Kings Day is a day to celebrate the monarchy and to remember the good works and accomplishments of our royal family. It is also an opportunity to show respect and appreciation to our current King and Queen as well as to celebrate the unique cultural heritage of our country.
