WGG Celebrates Pride Month: Inspiration Session | A queer vision of love and marriage with Tiq and Kim Katrin Milan

The next Monthly Inspiration Session where all GumGummers are encouraged to join in is here! In honoring Pride month, our June series will focus on the LGBTQIA+ experience. We hope you'll join us in this special edition and stay on for a thoughtful discussion.

For this session, we’ll watch a 20min TedTalk on A queer vision of love and marriage with Tiq and Kim Katrin Milan

Love is a tool for revolutionary change and a path toward inclusivity and understanding for the LGBTQ+ community. Married activists Tiq and Kim Katrin Milan have imagined their marriage -- as a transgender man and cis woman -- a model of possibility for people of every kind. With infectious joy, Tiq and Kim question our misconceptions about who they might be and offer a vision of an inclusive, challenging love that grows day by day.

For those newer to GumGum, these sessions are an opportunity for us to slow down, listen to an inspiring podcast or TedTalk and (optional) open up to a round table discussion on what we've just watched.

Bring your coffee, lunch, etc., and let's get inspired!

April WGG Inspiration Session: "A Seat at the Table" isn't the solution for gender equity | Lilly Singh

Join the Women of GumGum for their Monthly Inspiration Session where all GumGummers are encouraged to join in is here!

For this session, we’ll watch a 20min TedTalk on "A seat at the table" isn't the solution for gender equity with Lilly Singh.

Women and girls are conditioned to believe success is "a seat at the table." Creator, actress and author Lilly Singh thinks we need to build a better table. In this hilarious, incisive talk, Singh traces the arc of her career from up-and-coming YouTuber to history-making late-night talk show host, offering four ways to build a more inclusive society where girls are encouraged and empowered to do great things.

For those newer to GumGum, these sessions are an opportunity for us to slow down, listen to an inspiring podcast or TedTalk, and (optional) open up to a round table discussion on what we've just watched.

Bring your coffee, lunch, etc., and let's get inspired!
