Diwali Celebration at the Santa Monica Farmhouse 🪔

Last week, GumGummers gathered at the Santa Monica Farmhouse to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights! ✨

The afternoon was filled with delicious Indian food from a local restaurant, and our EVP Engineering Vaibhav Puranik shared the captivating story of Diwali. His charismatic storytelling truly brought the story and meaning of Diwali to life!

We enjoyed the opportunity to connect, learn about each other's cultures, and celebrate together. A big thank you to Vaibhav for sharing his culture with us.

What is Diwali?

Diwali is derived from the word “Deepavali, " meaning “a row of lights”. Celebrants light rows of traditional clay oil lamps outside their homes to symbolize the victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance
