GumGum Gives Back: Food Bank Donations
As we approach the holiday season, we’d like to remember the underserved individuals and families in our local communities who may be experiencing food insecurity. In anticipation of our Q4 Quarterly Cause, we’ve compiled a list of food banks, in each of our major markets to donate to or volunteer at this Holiday season.

Los Angeles
Los Angeles Regional Food Bank - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. You can donate monetarily, or drop off food directly at one of their food pantries available here.
Project Angel Food - Offers monetary donation and volunteer opportunities. Visit their site for a full list of ways to give and support their efforts. This organization is committed to feeding underserved communities in the Los Angeles area.
Los Angeles Mission - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. This organization’s work is primarily focused on feeding low-income individuals as well as serving the Los Angeles homeless community.
Chicago
Greater Chicago Food Depository - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. For a full list of ways to get involved, visit here. This organization serves the greater Chicago area with a variety of food banks across the region.
Lakeview Pantry - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. Their site has a full list of donation opportunities and physical locations to drop off food.
Common Pantry - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. Their site has a full list of donation opportunities. Common Pantry supports low income families in Chicago by providing them food and groceries.
New York
Food Bank for New York City - Offers food donation, volunteer, and advocacy opportunities. Their site has a full list of different ways to give and get involved. This non-profit offers the largest collection of resources and infrastructure for food insecure communities in NYC.
City Harvest - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. Visit their website to see how you can take action in your community. City Harvest is committed to feeding New York City’s disadvantaged communities.
Masbia - Offers monetary donation and volunteer opportunities. Masbia serves hot meals for the NYC community and also provides groceries for families in need.
National
Feeding America - Offers food donation and volunteer opportunities. This website is a great resource for food donations wherever you are in the United States and will help pair you with your local food bank.
International
World Central Kitchen - Offers monetary donation and volunteer opportunities. This non-profit is focused on providing food for emergency relief worldwide.
Himalayan Life - Offers monetary donation and volunteer opportunities. This non-profit is focused on combating world hunger through serving immediate communities in need and allocating resources worldwide.

Southwark Food Bank - Offers food to families and individuals in need in the Southwark area of the Uk,
Japan
Second Harvest - Delivers food to children's homes, single-mother shelters, centers for the disabled as well as many other welfare organizations and individuals in need.
Amsterdam
The Food Bank of Amsterdam - the Food Bank of Amsterdam provides food to people who – temporarily – cannot do so on their own. Every week we provide 1900 families, consisting of 4200 people, with a food package, spread over 12 distribution points in Amsterdam
