This week, in celebration of the life, legacy, and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, whose birthday is observed as a US holiday on January 15th, the BET (ERG) partnered with Confetti to host an insightful lecture on "Exploring MLK's Legacy through Art”. Led by Dr. Denise Rogers, Art Professor and Historian at San Diego Mesa College, we went on a visual journey, examining diverse art pieces that vividly depicted Dr. King's impactful contributions to the civil rights movement.
