GumGum Gives Back: Q2 Quarterly Cause - Supporting Homelessness
For the first time ever the EMEA VOICE Coalition is excited to lead our GumGum Gives Back: Quarterly Cause initiative. This quarter, we have selected Homelessness as our area of focus. Specifically, charities and organizations with a focus on aiding and supporting those who are suffering from homelessness and all the associated suffering which comes with it.
The VOICE coalition, along with other passionate GumGummers, have identified the following organizations that support homelessness here. If you know of any other charities that are passionate about homelessness, please reach out to the voice@gumgum.com and they will be sure to add it in.
How to Participate:
Between May 08th - June 9th
Option 1) Donate €15 EURO/USD ( your local currency) or more to one of the listed organizations or an organization that supports homelessness.
Option 2) People's Choice -Donate to an organization that supports homelessness, which is not included in our suggested list.
Option 3) Take direct action and utilize GumGum’s Volunteer Time Off! Some ideas include:
Get involved in our UK, Walk for Homelessness Day, June 8th, 2023. More information to follow!
Sign up to donate to a local food bank.
Donate your clothes to SHELTER or a charity that supports the cause.
GumGum will match all donations up to $3,000 USD
Additional Guidelines:
Choose Option 1 or 2?
Save a copy of your donation receipt, go to our Quarterly Causes + Q2 Donation Matching form, and attach your donation receipt under ‘Attach your Donation Receipt here’.
Choose Option 3?
Save a confirmation of your direction action/volunteerism, including volunteer day confirmation, race enrollment, or mileage walked/run and go to our Quarterly Causes + Q2 Donation Matching form, attach your saved confirmation/mileage under ‘Attach your Donation Receipt here’. GumGum will match your direct action OR sponsor you with a €25 donation.
Global Volunteer Time Off Policy:
Regular, Full-Time team members will receive two (2) days of paid time off per year for volunteering activities. We encourage you to volunteer with an organization that supports one of our 2 social pillars.
Note: These days do not roll-over into the following year, are not transferable to another team member, and are not payable upon termination
