WGG Celebrate the Holidays with Mulled Wine & Linzer Cookies 🍷
Just before the holidays the Women of GumGum gathered virtually to celebrate the end of the year and the holidays by making mulled wine and Linzer cookies. Led by host, Baking with Lenka members of the Women of GumGum not only learned how to make delicious Linzer cookies, they also learned about their history. The cookies were then perfectly paired with some mulled wine that they also learned to make.
Fun Fact: Mulled Wine, also known as spiced wine, is an alcoholic drink usually made with red wine, along with various mulling spices and sometimes raisins, served hot or warm. It is a traditional drink during winter, especially around Christmas.
