GumGum Gives LA: Volunteer Day at Project Angel Food

Last Thursday, a group of LA-based GumGummers led by our EVP of Global Platform Strategy and Operations, Adam Schenkel put their VTO to good use and volunteered at Project Angel Food, located in Hollywood! The mission: preparing and packing nutritious meals for our immunocompromised and homebound neighbors in Los Angeles.

From chopping veggies to assembling meals, the energy was high as they collaborated, laughed, and learned about the impact of Project Angel Food. The dedication and care that went into each meal served as a humbling reminder of the importance of giving back.

But the day wasn't all work and no play. After wrapping up their volunteer shift, we treated ourselves to a well-deserved team meal at Great White in Larchmont Village. Sharing stories, enjoying delicious food, and celebrating the day's good deeds cemented the experience as more than just volunteering – it was a day of bonding, reflection, and living out our GumGum values!

The group left Project Angel Food feeling inspired, connected, and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
