On Thursday, April 20, a group of LA-based GumGummers, led by CTO Ken Weiner, came together for a fun Earth Day hike and clean-up event at the picturesque Kenneth Hahn Park. Not only did we pick up trash and debris, but we had a chance to enjoy the warm weather and were also treated to clear views of downtown LA and the cityscape.

As part of our commitment to making a positive impact, we organized a friendly competition to see who could collect the most trash throughout the hike. The challenge not only made it fun, it also made a tangible difference in keeping the park clean.

Along the hike, we learned about different plants that were native to California, thanks to our resident native California plant enthusiast and CTO Ken. It was also just a great time to catch up with GumGummers that may not have seen each other in a while and meet one of the dogs of GumGum!

By the end of the hike, we collected a good amount of litter, leaving the park in a cleaner state than when we arrived. The event served as a great reminder that even small actions can have a big impact!

Overall, the Earth Day hike and clean-up at Kenneth Hahn Park was a success thanks to the leadership of our CTO, Ken Weiner, and the combined efforts of our amazing team. We look forward to participating in more eco-friendly initiatives in the future and continuing our journey towards a greener, cleaner world.

Special thanks to everyone who attended!
