[EMEA] Happy Stress Awareness Day

In celebration of Stress Awareness Day, the EMEA team participated in a range of Stress relieving activities. Stress Awareness Day is an initiative launched by the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), this day intends to raise awareness about stress and methods to fight it . 

The UK Team

In the UK we took part in a group Gong Sound Bath. Gong sound baths are highly rejuvenating for the body and bring about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce stress as well as help develop a better ability to cope with stress, help move emotional blockage from trauma and even stimulate altered states of consciousness.

The Poland Team

In Poland, the team came together to participate in a Stretch Yoga session. Yoga encourages mental and physical relaxation which helps reduce stress and anxiety. The physical postures promote flexibility, relieve tension and alleviate pain.

The German Team

Germany decided a virtual lunchtime yoga would benefit their stress management levels. When you take an hour out of a busy day to relax and meditate you will ease a lot of tension, which will support your stress levels for the rest of the day. Research has shown that lunch-break yoga significantly reduces work and related anxieties and improves productivity.

The Netherlands Team

The Netherlands team had a day out and enjoyed Qigong together. Qigong is highly rejuvenating for the body and brings about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce stress as well as help develop a better ability to cope with stress, help move emotional blockage from trauma and even stimulate altered states of consciousness.

I am really pleased all the EMEA regions managed to get together in celebration of Stress Awareness Day and GumGum Wellness. GumGum Wellness is a curated wellness program designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
